Ithafushi Resorts Maldives

Project Overview:

The project consists of reclaimed islands located in South Male in close proximity to the Male International Airport. The islands will be developed into a high end resort with all hospitality and leisure facilities in order to attract potential visitors and investors. There is no island in the immediate vicinity, expect for two small picnic islands: Maniyafushi and Vaagal. However, a number of new reclamation projects are being planned in the neighboring reefs.
The proposed side is a 126 Ha reef with no permanent island. The reef system is oriented in an east-west direction. There is a seasonal sand bank of the eastern end of the reef with a land area about 0.1 Ha.
